OUTNUMBERED

It’s a new year, a new semester, and with it, I’ve now officially been faculty for longer than I was a PhD student. Where has time gone?! It makes no sense because I still feel like the scrappy student that was trying to make it and feeling lost in it all. That me still feels so fresh, even now. Yet, I’m not. And I know that too because when I think about things like lesson prepping or setting up a research project, I know I’m seasoned and I’m ready for this year.
