From there, I have several checklists for things to prep, and also give myself a status update. Sometimes, I'm building off a project from a year or two ago, so I forget where I "left off." Remember that when drafting, you want to make sure all the proposal components are there, which is why my checklist is filling out those sections, although you can do it however you want. The last two sections are all about dotting the i's and crossing the t's. Remember that significance is HUGE, which is why it's included again towards the end.
Hope this helps and I'd love to hear how you organize and prep for conference proposals too! For more templates, check out the ORDERLY/TEMPLATES page.

Writing is a craft. To sharpen mine, I read a fair amount of books, articles, excerpts, and more. At least for the books, here are some I've enjoyed.
