As the physical distancing continues to flatten the Covid19 curve, I've been privileged to have access to many resources (and also admittedly overwhelmed by the volume of emails). These resources have ranged from tips about how to build community online; to the history of Yellow Peril and the current framing of anti-Asian rhetoric; resources about teaching, and much much more.

Misleading journals & Publishers

Earlier last year, I got an inquiry from a journal and didn't think much of it. The email felt odd and I trust my instincts so I didn't reply back. (I also happened to be in the thick of data collection so didn't reply to many emails during that season). Keeping Track Of...

I've been thinking a lot about organizational systems, especially as I'm running out of spaces in my apt to (procrasti)clean. I've also thought about them more in reflecting on my journey in the Ph.D. and the types of transitions I'll be needing to make for faculty life. But before getting too ahead of myself, here are some things that have worked for me (thus far) to keep track of dates, deadlines, reminders, tasks and more.
